I would like to offer assistance in developing and stabilizing an Apache ebXML
implementation. However, I am first interested in who has been involved to date and
what other groups they have been working with. Also, how does the plan fit with the
Axis plans or has thought even been given to it? I know of at least one other open
source ebXML initiative that is close to completion and is being based off of Axis.
If this software donation from Sun is intended to be an isolated imlementation
supported by one or two people, then it could clearly be detrimental to the other
not-as-well-known projects.

Thanks,
Jeff Benjamin
