No - that's ok, because this Board got 12MB DRAM on board which is
extend through 64MB ext. DRAM.

To get the Kernel start, my first step was to save my "real" config
and then remove everything unnecessary for boot. So you absolutly
right , this is too small for a real 2.6, but Kernel should boot
first, then I want to add stuff like QSpan,PCMCIA,NET,FS.

Already done, even if I load the compressed Image f.e. to 0x400000
there is nothing more than just:
- --------------------------------------------
=> bootp 400000
BOOTP broadcast 1
Using SCC ETHERNET device
TFTP from server 192.168.10.150; our IP address is 192.168.10.111
Filename '/embed/boot/uImage'.
Load address: 0x400000
Loading: #################################################################
         ############################################################
done
Bytes transferred = 638426 (9bdda hex)
=> setenv bootargs console=ttyS0,9600
=> bootm 400000
## Booting image at 00400000 ...
   Image Name:   Linux-2.6.22.6
   Image Type: PowerPC Linux Kernel Image (gzip compressed)
   Data Size:    638362 Bytes = 623.4 kB
   Load Address: 00000000
   Entry Point:  00000000
   Verifying Checksum ... OK
   Uncompressing Kernel Image ... OK
- -------------------------------------------------------
I also tried console=ttyCPM0,9600 as suggested in kernel config help -
no change.
Here are the relevant options:
CONFIG_VT_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_HW_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_SERIAL_CORE_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_SERIAL_CPM_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_DUMMY_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_CPM1=y
CONFIG_SERIAL_CPM=y
CONFIG_SERIAL_CPM_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_SERIAL_CPM_SMC1=y

Thanks in advance,
best regards,
Marcel Schmedes
