Greets, gentoo-users, yesterday at last I put my Intel SSD X25-M G2 into my Thinkpad.
Works fine so far ... I use the kernel 2.6.33-tuxonice on this machine, which should support TRIM. I also use ext4 for / which also should support TRIM if I mount it with the option "discard". Is this enough to enable TRIM ? Or do I have to do anything else? Thanks for any info, Stefan
