Hmmm, are you talking some custom setup using 'PS1=' sort of thing?
That is in:
/etc/bash/bashrc
For reference, I have this:
PS1='\[\033[01;31m\]\u@\h \[\033[01;34m\]\w \$ \[\033[00m\]'
and that gives me this:
root@fireball / #
The path is shown but I am at /. That works the same on a console as it
does on a Konsole. Is that what you are talking about? If it is, here
