You can test this with: `USE=debug emerge -1 glibc && emerge ekopath` I doubt it'll make any difference, but you mention this, so that's how to rule it out. If you don't get any better answers here, I would check the ekopath bug tracker then ask on the ekopath mailing list or, if they don't have one, directly with the author.
