OK, problem solved for now! :-) My list of blobs was: CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE="intel-ucode/06-1e-05 radeon/R700_rlc.bin radeon/ RV730_smc.bin radeon/RV710_uvd.bin" and it now is: CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE="intel-ucode/06-1e-05 radeon/R700_rlc.bin radeon/ RV730_pfp.bin radeon/RV730_me.bin radeon/RV730_smc.bin radeon/RV710_uvd.bin" Console buffer works, xserver works. I don't know if all of them are necessary, but if it works and doesn't complain I don't have to try messing things up. ;-) My video card in case you have the same is: Chipset: "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670" (ChipID = 0x9488) -- Regards, Mick
