You can ignore any howto that tells you to use raidtab, it's almost completely unnecessary. Use mdadm to create a RAID10 array, not a RAID0 of 2 RAID1s. If you have the drivers all compiled in, and give the partitions the correct partition type (fd, linux raid autodetect), they'll get built by the kernel on startup. -- Mike Williams -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
