You can do batch renaming based on file date, and there is also an option to correct file dates based on EXIF information. So you can do it with Digikam, but it is a two stage operation. Krename is able to rename files based on EXIF data. Digikam can also do slideshows, or there is dvd-slideshow, which also does menus. -- Neil Bothwick Press button to test: release to detonate.
