CONFIG_PROTECT="-*" emerge -C <pkg> Just don't come complaining about deleted files. That would still leave generated files around. You can use something like http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_Clean_Up_Cruft to clean out tmp files. Nothing Gentoo supported exists for the task you want I think. Regards, Petteri
