My > > guess is that you want _only_ vesafb-tng. > > > > -Richard > > Hi, Not very much but remember when compiled my first 2.6.15 kernel with gensplash at the end as einfo was a message about gensplash being very slow booting 2.6.15 kernels so added one additional option to Grub: video=vesafb:mtrr:3 (from the einfo text). But as i start w/o graphical login screen (XDM,GDM,KDM) can't test them. HTH.Rumen
