AFAIK, grub does _not_ support RAID. You would habe to install grub into the MBR of all drives part of md0. GRUB cannot be installed into the boot-sector of a partition. And AFAIK, there are some problems with installing GRUB into both MBR. Well, LILO manages all the problems for you. GRUB doesn't. In addition, i see a stable amd64 ebuild and even a ~amd64 ebuild in portage. So what was the problem again?
