[further] (1) I tried adding USE flags "gnome spell" without effect:
those are the only ones dropped since I adopted "-*" ;
(2) I recently added "confcache" to FEATURES : might that affect things ?
(3) I still don't know what "moc" means: can you/anyone explain ?
