I've done this manually in the past. Edit /var/lib/world and remove everything you think shouldn't be in there. Be brutal, if you never run the program directly, you probably don't want it in world. Then run "emerge --depclean --pretend". If this lists any packages you know you want (directly, not as dependencies) add them to world with "emerge -n package". Rinse and repeat. Finally, when everything listed by "emerge --depclean" is not something you want to keep, run it without --pretend. -- Neil Bothwick If God had intended man to smoke, He would have set him on fire.
