The system it's going on isn't particularly critical, and I've already
got a few masked/testing packages on there.  I have no problem putting
another on there, especially if it will compile and work!  It DID
compile, so 1 down.  ;-)

Ryan, thanks for pointing out the bug.  Not sure whether it's lack of
confidence, or lack of experience, but I so rarely come across actual,
unresolved bugs that I never think to look in bugzilla.  Usually when
I have this kind of problem, it's some library package that I (or
portage) missed, or some silly mistake.
