I figured this bit out last night ... Sorry. I'm still puzzled why my lap top keeps freezing. Usually when the screen saver cuts in. The last things I've done are upgrade GCC and follow the power managment guide for my laptop. Are there any obvious mistakes that would cause this? Thank, Richard
