sounds like a lack of ram, or you've opted to make the CD removable, which mounts all 700meg of CD into ram to do so irrc, so if your short on ram and have chosen options which match that description that could be the culprit. -- /<ent Fredric (aka theJackal) -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
