Hi! I have a similar card in my lenovo laptop. At first my mic did not work either, but then I found something:
My resolution was: Try alsamixer -V all you will then be provided with more channels and hopefully a capture device. There you have to push space so "CAPTURE" appears in red. The same for the mic. Then unmute and turn up the capture and the mic device. Hopefully this works for you too. greets
