I'm currently using kernel 2.6.13. I tried to download newer versions, but using the same configuration leads to many warnings that claim that some symbols my .config talks about do not exist anymore.
What can I do to find what should be changed? I tried reviewing the kernel documentation, but couldn't find anything about it, and my new kernels can't get through the whole boot process all times (most of the times, they just hang the computer after detecting the input devices).
