Check the docs. > well, I use nvidia (with binary drivers of course ;) and I can use accelerated opengl on all X displays (two for sure, i think I even had 3 at a time). I used to have xcomposite enabled and some games didn't play well with it so I used to start them in second X and I used to do so even because I was able to switch away from them and back easily....
