I had this problem once with some other software. I fixed it by setting /usr/src/linux to the same directory as the kernel i was using. Before that change it was pointing to an older kernel version.
You can do this with eselect kernel list and then eselect kernel set -----Original Message----- From: John covici <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: dinsdag 19 februari 2008 12:28 To: gentoo-user@lists.gentoo.org Subject: [gentoo-user] nvidia drivers don't compile under kernel 2.6.24 Hi. I tried using kernel 2.6.24-gentoo-r2 -- however the nvidia drivers version 100.14.19 complains that it is unable to determine the kernel version. I did some googling, but saw no solution to this problem, but it seems others are having difficulties with this also. Any assistance would be appreciated. -- Your life is like a penny.
