Hi, my laptop(Dell1400)'s speakers never work in Gentoo(headphones can work). But server days ago, I installed Ubuntu and I found that the speakers work(headphones also work)! I thought the alsa-driver could not drive my sound card properly before, and now, I think there must be some way since Ubuntu can work.
