Glad it works, but in any case, search the BIOS for things like "SATA" or "Native". Usually the choices are:
1. IDE emulation, Compatible 2. RAID 3. AHCI, Native, SATA It's best to pick 3 if you can find it and exists at all. PS:You reminded me of one the reasons I don't buy HP or any other generic vendor. They've crippled everything. :P
