It's not an "option". It's an alias. If you have
$ alias myalias="emerge --foo --bar --baz"
Then to use the alias you simply type
$ myalias
If you don't want to use the alias, well, don't type it. I.e.
$ emerge --la --di --dah
or
$ someotheralias
Or perhaps you don't aren't understanding what shell aliases are?
