I double checked my config with the guide and it appears everything is
correct.  Just in case there is a change that I don't see, here is the

The part that I notice is this, "*** Unable to determine the target
kernel version. ***" which is odd since my symlink is correct and I have
compiled a nice new kernel.  I have not yet booted it tho. 

What am I missing here?  I have never had this much trouble upgrading a
kernel or nvidia.
