Xavier,
I have attached the build.log.
The kernel has KVM configured as modules for both Intel and AMD.
CONFIG_KVM=m
CONFIG_KVM_INTEL=m
CONFIG_KVM_AMD=m

Also I doubt the portage version is the problem as I downgraded it to 2.1.4.5 
and it still fails in the same way.

Please let me know if you need other logs or configs.
