Hi group, Still sorting out the glitches in the new 2.6.30-r7 kernel.

Nothing about other drives, file sytems, hardware, busses etc. When I plug in a usb key, for instance, dmesg doesn't even notice although the log console(F12) makes a note of the device. The earlier kernel acts "normally". Did I leave something out of the kernel? I can't think what. Maxim
