Hi Carlo, for a totally different issue on another project (not even related to JMS) I had similar exception in the past. If memory serves me correctly the fix was in adding commons-pool2-2.8.0.jar to the classpath.
(Probably JMS is still inheriting an older one from the parent poms?)
