fighting

[Beavis Miner]

I had one gerbil, Beavis, that i bought from a small pet store. I had him
alone for about 2 weeks, but I felt bad that he was lonely so I got him
another one.  I wanted to try to introduce them first without the split cage
method.  At first they were a little jumpy towards eachother but I watched
them carefully.  They calmed down and were fine for the night and throughout
the day. Now they are sleeping with eachother. Basically my question is: Will
they most likely be fine or could they still fight?

On a different subject does anyone have a good name for female Argente Golden
gerbil?
