the simple answer is that something is different this time around. I am seriously sick and have other issues on my mind. I know that right now under Jessie Debian get_iplayer-2.99 is completely and utterly broken. if you say it works great go for it. between lung cancer and testicular cancer i may very well be dead by the time get_iplayer work around is found.
