Isn't this an overseas (rather than a domestic) channel? I'm not aware of it being available online, nor on satellite/terrestrially in the UK.

I know it's available in some overseas areas on satellite/cable but I think the service provider pays the BBC for the service and presumably the cost is passed through to the consumer by satellite/cable subscription fees. The same is true of other TV services such as BBC World News.

When I was last in the Philippines, I looked at the programme schedule and there didn't seem to be much original content (apart from the News). A lot of the programmes seemed to be repeats of material previously aired in the UK on the main UK channels. Unfortunately we can't get it in my part of the Phils, which is a pity because it beats the Filipino and Yankee crap on cable - the only BBC channel we can get is BBC World News and there's only so much of that anyone can take!
