A login has been required for months to watch TV programs, and
get_iplayer still works fine. So I doubt it will impact anything in the
short term. Whether it will *ever* have an impact is an impossible
question to answer, even for people who work at the BBC. But in this
case it's probable that they're only pushing the login requirement on
radio programs to try and increase their conversion rate for the new BBC
Sounds service and app.
