Hi I am trying to convert some .ts files to mp4 (created on a key from a basic terrestrial digibox), this is not something that I normally want to do so I don't wish to spend any money on fancy conversion software. I have tried several "FREE" converters that after all the effort to install them I discover that they are not free but just trial versions that are either length prohibited or put watermarks on the video. another one didn't appear to have any restrictions but said that it was going to take about 10 hours to convert (an hour and a half program).
I then relised that get_iplayer does some video conversion and wondered if I already have the means of doing what I want, I am not worried about doing any conversion on frame size or rate, just basic .ts to mp4 conversion, if there is the option to crop that is a bonus.
