"Intro to Photo Correction GIMP" Presented by Paul Beaudet

GIMP is a very powerful Photoshop(R)-like application for such
tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image creation
--and GIMP is free and open source software: completely free to
 download and use.

Even with its slight learning curve, GIMP is used by novice and
professionals alike. Revered for its affordability, simplicity and
extensibility GIMP is a very relevant competitor to Photoshop(R). It is
used for everything form simple cropping to editing space imagery from NASA
 telescopes and probes.

If you've been itching to retouch, modify, or enhance your digital
photos, then this program is for you.

 Learn how to:
   - Make color corrections (make your digital photos look more
     like film photos)
   - Use Curves and Cloning to enhance and modify your photos.
   - Apply Layers and Channels (Paul will provide a detailed
explanation of Layers and when and how to use them)
   - Sharpen, blur, remove red-eye, and much, much more.
