Well, another Hosstraders is behind us, and we survived.
We didn't get there until late, but it was glad to be able to chat with Mike and Heather for a short bit at least. I was amused that Ted was wearing the same outback pocket-master cargo-vest I was -- was Ted scarred by Captain Kangaroo too? Maybe someday I'll get to a non-Hosstraders GNHLUG meeting ;-) (Note for Mike -- it may be that 256 v 384 is key for Ubuntu, as it really doesn't seem to like our smaller Lifebook. Xubuntu didn't either, though, which bothers me. Puppy seems to run as Root, and DSL's mutant mixed Woody-kernel, Sarge-apps Debian seems like it would be a nightmare to keep up on patches with, so I'm not sure what to do.) -- Bill in Boston [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] decvax!world!wdr _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list gnhlug-discuss@mail.gnhlug.org http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss
