can some one tell me this ? why do i get the error:

and this:
scavenger:/usr/src/linux# cat /etc/ld.so.conf
/usr/X11R6/lib
/usr/local/lib
scavenger:/usr/src/linux#
i also make sure i did apt-get install kernel-package
am i crazy ? or just tired and missing something ?
