Hello Christian, To permanently enable root login to gnome under Debian, edit the /etc/gdm/gdm.conf file. In the [security] section of the file, add the following line: AllowRoot=True
After doing this, you need to reboot or just restart the gdm for the change to take effect. Hope this helps, --Al ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christian" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <gnome-accessibility-list@gnome.org> Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2006 9:49 AM Subject: How to login as root in Gnome > Hi all, > I am running latest Debian and it doesn't allow me to log in as root in > Gnome How do I do that?
