You're certainly not wrong, but the advantage of Glade is that it makes
knowing all property names, defaults, etc. easier. When I created my
window, I got a semi-accessible dialog presenting me with all the
options I could tweak, along with their defaults. Compared to that, it
might be easier to peruse the Rust API docs (no C here) but then I lose
the option of potentially getting help making the UI look nicer.
