I think your question would be better asked on the discuss or devel mailing lists. As I understand it, GNUstep will be Cocoa-compatible where someone contributes the changes and it doesn't break OpenStep compatibility. See also "How about porting between Cocoa and GNUstep?" on http://www.gnustep.org/resources/documentation/User/GNUstep/faq_1.html#SEC4 and "Additions to OpenStep" on http://www.gnustep.org/information/aboutGNUstep.html [...] > a good application base for the project and in the future help foster an > open source alternative to the mac Aqua desktop environment. I think you should say "a free software alternative". Open source is too ambiguous. http://mjr.towers.org.uk/writing/ambigopen.html Best wishes, -- MJ Ray - personal email, see http://mjr.towers.org.uk/email.html Work: http://www.ttllp.co.uk/ irc.oftc.net/slef Jabber/SIP ask _______________________________________________ Gnustep-webmasters mailing list Gnustep-webmasters@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnustep-webmasters
