Andrew, there is a feature request list you could try adding to at:

I don't think anything is to await soon considering I made a patch/bugfix and 
not even that has been included since May 2015.

Thanks for porting tree to Windows! Could you publish a Chocolatey package
for tree in order to make it easier to install for newbies? E.g.,
automatically add the tree.exe bin directory to PATH on install would help
introductory command line users.
