Talking Photos: Panjim Shigmo 2009 (floats ) They said they would start on time this year i.e. 4.30 but started around 6pm and ended around 10. The programe at Azad Maidan ended around 11.30. Floats not well organised. There were gaps betwenn the floats for up to 30 minutes. by 8pm, most people gone home thinkin everything is over. Even at the VVIP lounge for VVIP guests at DOE was completley empty and the floats contunue even after 9pm. The first part of the floats is the Dances, tradition troops/romtamel (shouting 'oi soi' and beating of drums) etc which took about 1.15hrs
I think the first Prize went to Cumbarjua (Rs. 45,000 plus rolling trophy) Ok, let's go to the Pics First, this at Azad Maidan entrance.
