When I was young, I remember people saying..
Diwadde oitolo zaliar Harizaghe ganddingtulean vochon potta
Tea uprant Tar(i) voddem (Canoe) kaddun poltoddi voichem potta. (There was no ferryboat at that time) Hari Raza ghe Ghandd, i think it means people are passing
helow him (literally it means passing in between the two legs Or below one’s..) but here it means passing through the arch But why Hari Raza? (fishermen king?)
Hari Raza seen here twice with close up pic 4 in 1 both sides http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauk28/4966498377/sizes/l/ As a kid , I also remember, whenever we go to Old Goa for a day,
We also went to Divar. There was a chapel? With life size image of Jesus Christ popularly known as ‘lonvemchi imaj’? (skin hair?) But I don’t remember seeing it though, hair I mean
The man there (may be a sacristao) used to wipe the body/Statue With a cloth and gave us water to drink or to take away Some one please name the church or the chapel?
