Friday Balcao will have a sharing by Mr. Ibadullah Khan an educationist & social worker. Mr. Khan has had a long innings in the educational field in Goa and served as Headmaster of The Assagao Union High School in Bardez. He is also a keen promoter of publications on Islam in the Konkani language besides being an active member of the Jamaat - E - Islami Hind. Mr. khan who did his primary education in Portuguese and Urdu will share his views on the pre-liberation and post-liberation role of the Muslim community in Goa. He will also focus on areas of employment & business opportunities, educational growth and socio- cultural contributions and the challenges of Goan Society today. Those citizens wanting to participate in the discussion at Friday Balcao are urged to attend the event. Friday Balcao will be from 4pm to 6pm at the Goa Desc Resource Centre No.11 Liberty Apartments Feira Alta, Mapusa and is open to members of the public.
