From a relatively neutral point of view I think Mario is winning the
debate. He has enumerated Santosh's support group as consisting of just 10
supporters. Now even if these 10 supporters had 10 supporters (silent or
otherwise - but no duplication allowed) each, that would still be only 100
supporters out of 10,000 subscribers on GoaNet i.e. just one percent
supporting Santosh.
Not that democracy is the best method to decide these matters. But I would
suggest someone now makes a list of Mario's supporters. All those who agree
with his arguments and convictions. Once that figure has been arrived at
and all involved have cast their vote, and stated where they stand, then I
have a suggestion.
All of you please start a fresh new Yahoo Group where you discuss only
matters of religion and American politics. And leave us others to discuss
Goa related issues. Its getting too sickening.
Evangelical atheism is as irritating as blind faith in Church dogma. I know
so many intelligent and articulate subscribers who don't participate in
Goan Cyberspace because of the constant wars between The Knights of the
Church and The Godless Ones.
Leave us alone to discuss Goa!
