-- Samir Umarye BICHOLIM FEB 10: The Leopard has now started making it's presence felt at Lamgao Bicholim even as several dogs from the village are reported missing since last few days.
According to the information provided by the Animal Rescue Squad president, Amrut Singh the people from Lamgao are spotting a leopard since last four days. "Today the municipal workers spotted a leopard at Lamgao near a lake and when we went to the village the paws of the wild cat was clearly visible in the mud" Amrut Singh told Herald adding " the people have also told that their dogs are missing since few days." Considering the seriousness of the problem the ARS team has now laid a trap at Lamgao.Meanwhile, today some of the forest officials also visited the village and took stock of the situation.
