So it is bound to be a rollicking success :-)
---------------- 1) To the best of my knowledge Wendell did not fly in any models for the Toronto Convention either, and just used locally available talent - largely Goan/Indian. 2) There are much more beautiful women in Goa/India than in Sweden. Anyone who says otherwise has got to get their eyes and mind checked. 3) There are many Goans in Sweden other than Alfred. But jokes aside. Will someone explain to me why International Goan Conventions have to be held anywhere other than in Goa? I mean which place is more convenient, central and appropriate? If the Toronto (or London or Sydney or whatever) Goans want to organise a Convention that's all very fine, but calling it an International Goan Convention when there are less than a hundred people present (for the 'serious' events, and less than a dozen for the workshops as Vicor Rangel Ribeiro has pointed out) and precious few of residents of Goa or even truly representative of the entire Goa resident and diasporic Goans (how many Gulf Goans were there?), is rather grandoise. Think Goa! Cheers! Cecil =========
