Poriem Panchayat demolishes 7 dhangar houses. What about the hundreds of
illegal migrant squatters on Communidade land and Government land even after
hundreds of complaints and appeals are filed? After several years of battling
against illegal encroachements a Goan built a house on communidade land in
Aldona in the midst of the migrant encroachers. The Dy. Collector issues notice
for producing conversion sanad and in two months even before the accused could
get the certified copy of the orderfrom the court that his appeal has been
rejected, his house was demolished. The Gaunkars of Aldona never protested.
It is damn easy for migrants to set up shop anywhere on the road side whereas
if a Goan attempts to do so the authorities swing into action. Migrants have
got their agents who tip off the authorities and get patronage for
illegalities. Migrants in Government service act as the conduits.
Goans are happy to be peddling in drugs and booze to the migrants whereas day
by day we have more and more migrants squeezing into every sq. inch they can
manage. Every migrant who comes to Goa wants to settle down here and we always
have Goa's elite and intellectual prostitutes who are ready to accomodate them
as brothers and sisters of Bharat. When it comes to a fellow Goan these
prostitutes will cry about the illegality from the roof tops.
If Goans try going and settling in those States they will get a kick in the ass
from their brothers and sisters of the same Bharat. Is'nt it great?
