We offer the same code distribution as the Javascript libraries that we
host. My understanding is that Prototype/script.aculo.us don't minify their
code to be distributed. We want to mimic the preferences of the library
maintainers since they know what is best for their library. However, if
they do offer minified code, we will host it as well.

As for the CDN question, if you have an open source project you can host it
on code.google.com/p and if you want to use our free cloud computing
service, App Engine, you can host files there.
