One more thing. Blobstore is 1/3 the cost of High Replication datastore. So if you don't need to index the information, and you are okay doing multiple GET's/PUTs (ie one GET to get the blobkey, and one more to actually serve the file), and your code allows the inclusion of the blobstore, then the blobstore may be an attractive option.
