I personally know one company in Norway which uses GWT as main WebUI 
framework. 
If you want statically typed language and rich components to beat GWT + 
SmartGWT/GXT not easy.
Especially if your application needs a rich grid component.
ag-grid community edition does not allow to do everything that is available 
in SmartGWT Grid.
