Bahrain Bahrain: 'Konkani Kutam' Bahrain has organized Konkani singing and elocution contest for the children upto 18 years on 13th January 2006 in Karnataka Social Club premises starting at 11 A.M. The contest is aimed at promoting Konkani language amoung the catholic children of Bahrain. The singing competition consists of 4 groups-upto 6 years , 6 to 9 years, 9 to 12 years & 12 to 18 years. The elocution contest consists of 3 groups- upto 9 years, 9 to 12 years & 12 to 18 years. The winners will get attractive prizes total amounting to US Dollars 700.00 & consolation prizes to all
